About us
In 1933, when there was no internet and no hipsters, our grandfather, Elizaras, a Karaite from Panevėžys, opened a hairdressing salon in the city, where he took care of men's image. He heard the most incredible stories while cutting the hair and shaving the beards of the townspeople - he was not only a great barber, but also a very good listener. People would drop in for a chat and a cup of tea. Thanks to this extremely interesting man, both his son Jonas and we, his grandchildren Elidijus (Elis) and Diana, have had scissors in our hands since childhood, and we have learnt a lot about the traditions of men's haircuts and the secrets of the trade. Our three-generation family history, with the addition of Eliza's third grandson, Paul, has been alive again since 2017. Elizaros Artelė men's hairdressing salons, named after the pioneer of the family craft, are now waiting for customers in Vilnius, Malūnų str.6A (Užupis) and Giedraičių str.60A (Šnipiškės).
